The horizontal rotary tables with wear‐free direct drive are highly compact and can be used as turning tables, positioning tables, or grinding tables.
The horizontal rotary tables are very compact and space‐saving and fit into machine tools and machining centres in a space‐saving manner. They are supplied as top mounted table for retrofitting or as an integrated rotary table. The standard range includes tables with a diameter of up to 2,000 mm. CYTEC can supply any desired table variant upon request.
Thanks to the energy‐efficient torque motors of the latest generation, the horizontal rotary tables are characterised by extremely smooth running. They are wear‐ and virtually maintenance‐free and offer a long service life. The motors can be optimised for high torques or high speeds. In the Mill-Turn rotary table version, they reach speeds of 1,000 rpm. They cover a wide nominal torque range so that the optimum horizontal table can be supplied for every requirement.
The axial‐radial bearing of the faceplate gives it a high bearing rigidity. This ensures highly accurate results, even with large and heavy workpieces. CYTEC supplies tables with a load weight of up to 15 tons. Precise T‐slots or customer‐specific hole patterns enable versatile clamping options. The innovative CyTab zero‐point clamping system for quick changeover of pallets, fixtures and exchangeable plates can be integrated directly into the tabletop.
In the grinding tables version, the horizontal tables must meet extreme requirements on axial runout accuracy. For this purpose, they are revised once more for the highest precision and equipped with high‐resolution on measuring systems.
ZERO POINT CLAMPING SYSTEM
The new CyTab zero‐point clamping system is a new development from CYTEC and represents a universal tool for the retooling of pallets, fixtures, and exchangeable plates in the entire engineering sector.
The extremely flat clamp housing with cone centres the mating flange with short taper with the highest precision and repeatability. The system enables the optimisation on of machining and automation processes and increases the productivity in modern manufacturing plants.
